Mid summer brings a vast array of flowers, Alstromeria, Astrantia, Calendula, Cornflower , Cosmos, Dahlia, Delphinium, Eryngium, Fever Few., Foxgloves, Freesias, Geum, Gypsophillia, Lavender, Larkspur, Lily, Nigella, Oriental Poppy, Phlox, Rose, Salvia, Scabious, Statice, Stocks, Sunflower, Sweet Pea, Sweet William, Verbascum, Verbena, Veronica, Zinnia

It’s hard to imagine in January the bare chocolate earth resembling the crown jewels and conucopia of colour and scent as it does in the blossoming months of May to September.  Colours are planted for every spectrum;  bright magenta to the palest lemon sunflower or snapdragons….

Summer orders are filled with cut flower buckets and weddings, alongside bouquets, there is always something for everyone.  I am always especially excited for my perennial pink and yellow gypsophilia and the newly planted rose garden.  Cut flowers by Kate will continue to supply Maiden Newton and Cattistock Stores while Summer Lodge Hotel in Evershot love using our local flowers for their abundant displays…always a joy to see.
